POLICE are warning people in Haslemere to be on their guard following a would-be scam at the Barclays Bank ATM last Monday.
At around 7pm, on April 27, a woman approached the cash machine outside Barclays on the High Street and, having used it, a 'Lebanese loop device' fell off the machine. It appeared it had only just been inserted as there was wet glue on the machine.
