A NEW gin distillery is set to showcase its creations at several upcoming Christmas fairs.

Bordon-based Hogmoor Distillery, which works out of one of SiGNAL’s workshops, will be offering its products to festive visitors ahead of its official open day in January.

The team, made up of commercial director Anthony Painterhill, marketing director Mairead Wheeler and financial director Pauline Cheeseman, will be taking their products to Little Rays Christmas fair at Godalming Town Football Club on Saturday (November 23) from 10am to 1pm.

The gins will also be available to try and buy at Chocolate Frog Company’s Christmas market weekend in Oakhanger, from 10am to 5pm this Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

This will be their “first retail and getting the drinks out there” event, according to Anthony.

So far, they have created a London dry gin, a unique ‘Nuthatch’ gin, and a strawberry and watermelon-flavoured gin liqueur called ‘Mermaid Shimmer’.

They also have plans to release a rum onto the market next year and begin gin-making classes in January.
