VILLAGERS rallied around after items belonging to a youth group were taken when Grayshott Church was broken into late last year.
An old plasma screen TV and Nintendo Wii donated to the youth group and an old N64 games console, which belonged to youth group leader Patrick Webb were stolen.
Mr Webb said although the old TV and games consoles were of no value, the burglary left the group with nothing.
He said: “Unfortunately, the items they did take were, among other things, our TV?and games consoles which the young people use for youth group.”
He added: “We reached out to the community to ask for help and have been overwhelmed with the support from neighbours and friends. We have now much more than what we lost and we are extremely grateful to the support from the people of Grayshott and our friends.”
