CELEBRATING British Science Week junior school children from The Royal School, in Haslemere, took part in a challenge to film themselves at home, conducting short experiments.
In all almost 40 videos demonstrating practical experiments from inflating balloons with vinegar and bicarbonate of soda, to playing with non-Newtonian fluids were filmed with many shown at a special Science Week assembly, enjoyed by the whole junior school.
The week also featured other facts of science displayed around the school. Pre-Prep children also joined in the fun making a number of science led activities including a session on the essential and lifesaving skill of CPR under the guidance of Dr Le Mare.
The senior science department also hosted a range of events. In addition pupils took part in the final of the Surrey SATRO Problem Solving Challenge in Cobham.
