FARNHAM’S favourite young chorister is set to perform at his “biggest concert to date” this weekend.

Cai Thomas, aged 12, has enchanted residents with his “special talent” – previously being shortlisted for BBC Radio 2’s 2019 Young Chorister of the Year competition.

This Saturday (November 9), visitors will enjoy the music of Gjelio, Esenvalds, Nielsen, Arnesen and Grieg in their Northern Treasures show, hosted by the Excelsis choir.

Conducted by Robert Lewis, the show promises performances from Cai, Matthew Taylor and unannounced guests.

The service will be held at St Christopher’s Church, Haslemere and starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £15 for adults, and £8 for under 16s.
