HASLEMERE Food Festival is back by popular demand next weekend.

Celebrating all that is great about local produce, it will feature the wide range of products currently available from award-winning suppliers in the town and surrounding area and include delicious street food and a “not to be missed” sausage competition.

There will also be a packed programme of foodie demonstrations, from ‘Seasonal Starters’ with Riverford Organic Farmers, to ‘Autumn Breads’ from Bake with Jack, plus special dishes from Haslemere’s Seabright’s Butchers, and a ‘Wine and Fizz’ tasting with Blackdown Ridge Estate.

Children’s workshops will offer junior cooks the opportunity to get hands-on with food, and there will be fairground rides, face painting and live music.

The festival takes place at Lion Green, from 10am to 4pm, on Saturday, September 23.
