A FOOTBALL fun day event will take place in Haslemere on September 29 in memory of Jaz Bush.

A Woolmer Hill School student and player for Haslemere Football Club’s girls team, Jaz battled with anxiety and depression and died in a rail accident at Haslemere railway station in August 2016.

This will be the third year the event has been held in her memory, with the previous two events raising more than £25,000 for charities Young Minds and The National Autistic Society Surrey Branch, two charities which were close to her heart.

The fun day will take place at Woolmer Hill Sports Ground from midday.

The timetable for the event includes multiple football tournaments with categories including children, mixed and men.

There will also be a raffle, auction and food plus a tombola and live music, which will start at 7pm and continue until late.

More information and updates on the event can be found on the Facebook page Jaz Bush Football Funday 2019.
