The Anna Chaplaincy team in Alton has received a grant from East Hampshire District Council’s Supporting Communities Fund to help it give ministry to older residents over the next three years.

Since Kate Powell was recruited as Anna Chaplain in March she has recruited more volunteers and 11 new Anna Friends were commissioned by Philip Simpkins, minister of Alton Methodist Church, at Holy Rood Church in Holybourne on September 18.
