The Haslemere Players are beyond excitement as their end of October production, the comedy musical theatre classic Anything Goes, is nearing curtain up.

Some of the cast held a publicity walkabout in Haslemere on Saturday, October 1.

Set aboard the cruise ship SS American in the early 1930s, Anything Goes is a musical romp across the Atlantic from New York to London, with multiple madcap antics on board.

It’s a tale of romance, subterfuge, music, dance and laughter, with a hilarious script by P G Wodehouse and Guy Bolton, and a collection of familiar music and lyrics by Cole Porter.

Showing at Haslemere Hall, the show will run every evening from Tuesday, October 25, to Saturday, October 29, with a matinee on the Saturday.

Haslemere Players is supporting the mental health charity Oakleaf with this production.
