A CHEQUE for a mouthwatering £800 has been presented to a cancer charity.

Grayshott Cricket Club’s own Great Bake-Off was a huge success and brought the total funds raised by Haslemere and District Macmillan to a staggering £17,914.

The event which took place last year produced an impressive collection of delicious cakes and treats by players and their families, with three Macmillan committee members, all great bakers themselves chairman Jose Stead, treasurer Jan Bebbington and former chairman, Judy Avens judging the entries.
