PUPILS from Grayswood Infants School were getting into the festive spirit last week, as preparations for the school's Easter celebrations got under way.

Children delivered flowers and cards to some villagers. And on Tuesday and Wednesday they acted out hymns and gave bible readings, as well as dance, drama and poetry.

On Thursday, there was an Easter hat parade, and the week was rounded off on Friday with a service at All Saints Church in Grayswood, followed by hot-cross buns before the children began their holiday.
