ACTRESS Jenny Seagrove is one of many celebrities backing town charity arts project Haslemere Hounds.

A founding trustee of Mane Chance sanctuary in Compton, she joined Waverley mayor Mary Foryszewski and Rufus Hound to flag up the project’s grand finale auction at Lythe Hill Hotel from 6.30pm on Wednesday, October 23.

Mane Chance is one of the mayor’s nominated charities and next week’s successful bidder for Rufus Hound – signed by the comedian — will help swell vital funds.

Also in the run up to the big event, children have been hunting for the artworks around the town so they can fill their Haslemere Hounds sticker books.
