RARING to go, a total of 90 juniors between the ages of two and 10 took to the sports field at Bohunt Centre, on Sunday morning, to take part in Liphook’s annual charity bike ride.
Sponsored by Oak Lodge Dental Practice, the track was set to equalise five laps with one mile.
Cheered on by family and friends, some of the children got into the competitive spirit of the event.
Fred Price, who comes from a cycling family, completed a total of 102 laps, which amounted to 20.5 miles.

Junior Ride organiser Rob Pretorius told The Herald: “As a keen cyclist all my life, it is just great to see young kids enjoying their bikes in a safe environment.
“Many of the children enter the ride every year and try very hard to beat their lap count from the previous year.
“Hopefully next year we can get a lot more local junior and infant schools involved in the event.”
