WAVERLEY Borough Council has given permission for a site at 25 Kings Road, Haslemere, to be redeveloped.

At present the building has garages beneath with accommodation above under a flat roof, which would be converted and built on, adding another floor to provide two, one-bedroom flats under a pitched roof, raising the roof line to match the neighbouring building.

At the rear of the site, part of the existing extension will be demolished and there will be a new building backing onto Longdene Road which will also have two flats.

The building at the back will have an irregular shape, with a stepped appearance and all four flats will have outdoor terraces at the rear.

The present garages will be reconfigured for four parking spaces.

There will also be a shed for bicycles.
