Junior Family Church at Petersfield and Liss United Reformed Church enjoyed helping with the litter pick for the King’s coronation and found all sorts of things.

Jo Hopkins, community worker for the church, said: “All the young people were great using the picks borrowed from the Petersfield Society, and look forward to helping keep Petersfield clear again for everyone to enjoy our beautiful town.”

The group’s youngest member, three-year-old Joel, certainly enjoyed himself, saying this is “sooooo exciting”!

Petersfield Society’s Clean Up for the Coronation event was launched on Sunday, April 30, and saw teams of litter pickers complete routes of the town between 2pm and 4pm.
