HASLEMERE coffee shop Oliver’s helped spread the warmth on ‘Brew Monday’ (January 20) with the offer of a free hot drink and a chat – with the cost of the drink donated to The Samaritans.
Owner Oliver Leach also joined town county councillor Nikki Barton at Haslemere Station to help South Western Railway spread the message that “It’s okay not to be okay” in partnership with The Samaritans.
The third Monday of January – Blue Monday – is dubbed the most difficult day of the year, and ‘Brew Monday’ events were held at many rail stations.
