SURREY County Council is advertising a statutory public consultation to do with on-street parking restrictions around Haslemere.

No further residents' only bays are proposed at this stage, but there will be further double yellow lines, mainly at junctions and bends, "to refine safety and access".

The consultation gives people 28 days to lodge views and objections to proposals agreed by the county's local area committee in December.
