a group of Camelsdale mums are teaming up for a special walk to raise money for a charity close to their hearts
The ‘Camelsdale Coast Busters’ are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support as thanks for its support to the whole family, after one of them tragically lost her sister to the disease.
The eight mums will be walking 26.3 miles, along the South Downs coastal path from Brighton to Eastbourne on Saturday June 10 to raise the vital funds for MacMillan.
As part of is fundraising efforts the mums have also organised a quiz taking place at The Station House pub, by Haslemere railway station, on Sunday April 30 at 8pm.
Run by comedy genius Bez at Comedy Quiz, guests are promised a night of fun and laughter, a relaxed atmosphere and lots of surprises and thanks have gone to The Station House and Edyquiz for their support.
Tickets are priced at £5 in advance, or £6 on the door, and are available from The Station House, with all proceeds going to MacMillan.
With amazing prizes to be won on the night in a raffle, all have been kindly donated by local business among them ASK, The Spread Eagle, CYC-D, Jumping Puddles, Wattle and Daub, Little Locks, Lower Lodge Candles, Haslemere Leisure Centre, the Book shop and more.
