Music at the Pottery, the monthly music event at The Farnham Pottery in Wrecclesham, held its Christmas special on December 17.

The show featured four great acts, with the Vic Cracknell Swing Band concluding the evening with a well received set of popular classics.

Music at the Pottery takes place throughout the year and showcases the very best local talent from all musical genres.

It continued to be a great success in 2022, with more than 40 acts featured and all shows sold out.

Music at the Pottery supports local charity Creative Response and all profits generated by these monthly music events are donated to it.

Creative Response, which is based at Vernon House in Farnham, provides support to vulnerable people with a range of physical disabilities, mental illnesses and addiction issues through involvement with the arts.

Music at the Pottery’s co-organisers Peter Crutchfield and Jim Cozens were both delighted to present a cheque for £2,120 to Kathryn McManus, the chief executive of Creative Response, during the evening.

They are now looking forward to continuing their association with this important local charity in the new year.

The next Music at the Pottery concert on January 27 at 8pm, featuring Charlotte Campbell supported by One Eyed Man, Cloudcat and Slack Maverick, has already sold out.
