CHILDREN at Beacon Hill School entertained family and friends with an end of term production, ‘Panto Pandemonium.’
Calling on many favourite characters from well known pantomimes the story followed the endeavours of four children in their quest to banish the wicked witch and bring the magic back to pantomime land.
All pupils in the school, from reception class through to year six took part, either as cast members or singing many of the production’s memorable songs.
“The children’s fantastic performances were rewarded with applause and praise from the audience, as was Miss Vanessa Butcher’s hard work in putting the show onto the stage,” said a school spokesman.
A collection was held at the end of each of the three shows to help raise funds to continue Beacon Hill’s support for their link school, Nyabondo in Kenya and headteacher Sue Walker thanked parents for their generosity.
