SURREY Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) David Munro is taking legal guidance on whether he should have investigated an initial complaint made to his office regarding Chief Constable Nick Ephgrave’s involvement in the issuing of a search warrant.

The county’s police and crime panel agreed last month the complaint by a member of the public should not have been “disapplied” by Mr Munro.
