Pupils at the Royal School Juniors struck a chord with their grandparents and older relations at a special entertainment, last Friday.
The school’s ‘Grandparents’ afternoon’ struck up with a concert by students, including performances of ‘Land of my Fathers’ and soloes of ‘Over the Rainbow’ and concluded with tea and cakes and a tour of the Haslemere school.
“It was a special afternoon for all involved,” headteacher Holly Hirst said. “Despite the cold and wintry weather, the atmosphere inside was warm and buzzing with excitement.
