A HOT September sun ensured Grayshott Primary School’s summer fair was a sizzler.

There was a big turnout for the event, which raised £1,300 to help fund school improvements.

Dylan’s Ice Creams provided much needed cold refreshment and energetic fun was on offer courtesy of school dad, Sheldon Whittle, who laid on Zorbing globe rides and trampolining activities.

Visitors also enjoyed balloon popping, water pistol target practice, a Tin Can Alley, an outdoor show by Ash Puppets and a dancing display by Haslemere Performing Arts.

Headteacher Sharon Pritchard said: “Grayshott School is so grateful for all the hard work parents and volunteers put into an evening like this.

“It is truly inspiring that people give up their time and effort to make these events such a success. Special thanks must go to Haart estate agents for sponsoring the fair and running a great stall, also to Flower Vogue and CM Sports for their support.”
