THE Environment Secretary is recruiting two new members to join the South Downs National Park’s governing body. Applicants have until noon on Monday, November 2, to apply for the roles which will be appointed following national, open competition.

Successful applicants will take a strategic role in shaping the future of the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA). Members are expected to commit a minimum of three to four days per month.

They’re not paid for the work, but are able to claim certain allowances.

Interviews are expected to take place between January 11 and 29 next year.
