A MASS of purple balloons were launched at St Ives School and Haslemere Preparatory School last Friday to mark Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.
Guest of honour was an inspirational former school parent Ali Stunt, who founded the charity Pancreatic Cancer Action, after she was diagnosed with the disease in August 2007.
Mrs Stunt was aged 41 with two children aged 10 and 14 when her world was turned upside down four years ago.
