BACK on track is the newly re-launched historic Station House, which has opened its doors, after a £3million investment in Haslemere’s historic railway inn.
The latest addition to the 15-strong Upham Group of pubs in the south, serves food throughout the day by chef Savio Pereira from his state-of-the-art kitchen,
It has seating for 130 people in a brasserie, bar, terrace bar, and French-style Cafe de la Gare, plus 16 bedrooms, all with a different railway station themes.
Upham chief executive Chris Phillips, who also manages the award-winning Swan Inn, in Chiddingfold, told The Herald: “I can’t tell you the thought that has gone into this one – it’s been a monumental task.
“We try to make all our pubs special with a wow factor.
“Given the new Haslemere railway station car park opposite is nearly complete, it was perfect timing.
“We want to have a vibrant business throughout the whole day, including making it comfortable for families.”
