CAMELSDALE Primary School’s festive show ‘Christmas Stars’ was performed by 190 children to over 450 parents, guests and extended family.

The theme was based around Star Wars (pictured) with the cast welcoming year one’s version of the Nativity, ‘Christmas with The Aliens’.

Year two performed Peter Pan and year three whisked everyone off to Alice in Wonderland.

It was “Panto Pandemonium” with year four and year five retelling the classic story of A Christmas Carol.

Finally year six wrapped everyone in a magical force for ‘Christmas at Hogwarts’.

Headteacher Sarah Palmer said: “Our Christmas shows provide wonderful memories for everyone. The children’s skills in public speaking, drama, dance and singing are wonderfully built upon.

“A huge thank-you to the parents, staff, PTA and children who made it all happen. This also includes Wizard Video for filming the DVD and Simon Reed at www. musicalpictures. co.uk for our fantastic dress rehearsal photographs. We certainly hope the Christmas Force is with everyone this festive season.”
