ALTON Town Hall has been closed to visitors to minimise contact between staff and residents as part of Boris Johnson’s ‘Plan B’ to limit the spread of the omicron variant of coronavirus.

People wanting to pay their allotment rent should either use the bank details on the invoice to pay by bank transfer or post a cheque, in an envelope with the plot number on the outside, through the letterbox.
