STEPPING Stones School announced this week it will not now fully restore a well and stables at Undershaw after its deal with the Undershaw Preservation Society fell through.
The school's plans for the former home of legendary write Sir Arthur Conan Doyle will now include its original proposal to cover the well over and convert the horse stalls into a wheelchair accessible area.
The DFN Foundation completed its purchase of the grade two listed Hindhead home on behalf of the special needs school last Friday.
