WAVERLEY Borough Council has got some of the money back it has spent on protecting Undershaw, the historic home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Between April and June 2007, the council put up scaffolding and a temporary roof to protect the Grade II Listed building in Hindhead, which has been vacant for more than two years.
