Waverley's motorists will have seven road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And three of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

M3, from 8pm February 1 to 6am March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 5, slip road closure for barrier repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

And a further six closures will begin over the next seven days:

A3, from 8pm March 13 to 6am March 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazel Grove to Liphook, Lane closure for drainage works.

A3, from 8pm March 13 to 6am March 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound, Liphook to Hazel Grove, Lane closures for inspection work.

A3, from 8pm March 20 to 6am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A3 northbound and southbound, Hindhead Tunnel, Contraflow for tunnel maintenance, diversion via Highways England network.

A3, from 8pm March 23 to 6am March 24, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Milford, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.

M3, from 8pm March 24 to 6am March 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M3 northbound, junction 5, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

A3, from 8pm March 25 to 6am March 27, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A3 southbound, Hazel Grove, slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work, diversion via National Highways network.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
