THE Wheatsheaf Inn, in Grayswood, and The White Horse, in Haslemere, are taking part in the World’s Biggest Quiz next month.

Some 1,340 UK pubs have already signed up and PubAid estimate between 50,000 and 75,000 quizzers will take part, on Sunday February 7, from 7.30pm, with more than 900 charities benefiting.

It is hoped it will break the record for the largest multi-venue quiz in history and earn a place on the Guinness Book of World Records. The Wheatsheaf will be raising funds for the town’s first responders and The White Horse for Victoria’s Promise.
