POLICE have issued CCTV images after three youths reportedly punched a man on a train between Godalming and Milford stations.

The man, aged in his 40s, was attacked at around 12.35am on Saturday, May 18.

British Transport Police reported three boys sat next to the victim and tried to take his headphones, when stopped they punched him in the face and spat at him.

The victim was also struck on the thigh with the flat side of a knife. The strike did not pierce his clothing or skin and he did not require medical attention.

He managed to push the boys off the train when it arrived at the next station.

Officers believe those pictured may have information that could help their investigation.
