ALDERSHOT Town’s National League game at Bromley was postponed on Tuesday, ten minutes before kick-off, because of an electrical fault at Hayes Lane.
The floodlights failed at approximately 7.15pm, with both sides continuing their warm-up in the dark.
At 7.38pm, the club announced that, due to ‘significant damage’ caused by the fault, the game had been postponed.
The usual large travelling band of Aldershot supporters had a wasted journey.
The fixture has now been re-arranged for Tuesday, November 28 (ko 7.45pm), with admission prices reduced for all supporters.
All tickets from Tuesday’s postponed game remain valid, with holders receiving a £5 refund on production of their ticket at the turnstiles next week.
Admission prices for all other supporters are £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (students aged 16-21, and U16s accompanied by a paying adult admitted free).
Bromley are offering refunds to all Shots supporters who have retained their ticket stub and cannot attend the re-arranged match. On production of a ticket stub, refunds are available from the EBB Stadium, either in person or by postage to Ticket Office, Aldershot Town FC, The EBB Stadium, High Street, Aldershot, Hants GU11 1TW.
• Aldershot goalkeeper Mark Smith has joined National League South club Eastbourne Borough on loan until December 16. He has made two appearances for the Shots this season, and will now be eligible to play in the next four league games for the team currently 15th in National League South.
• Bristol City have recalled left-back Cameron Pring from his loan period at Aldershot, while Kodi Lyons-Foster has returned to the Shots following a spell at Whitehawk.
