LIPHOOK and AFC Petersfield both crashed out of the Hampshire Intermediate Cup on Saturday.

AFC Petersfield, who prop up Division?One of the Puma Hampshire Premier League, were outclassed by Clanfield, currently third in the Senior Division. Clanfield demolished their local rivals 7-1, with Josh Hazell and Elliot Sills (2) sharing three goals inside 15 minutes. Cameron Palin, Mike Newman and Jon Byerley were also on target and an own goal completed the home side’s tally. Ryan Blackburn scored AFC’s consolation goal.

Liphook, former cup winners, lost 4-2 at home to Paulsgrove. Steve Harding cancelled out Paulgrove’s lead before half-time, but the visitors added three more in the second half, with Harrey Tremlett getting one back for Liphook.

In the Senior Division, Liss Athletic beat Colden Common 2-1. Tony Kirby and Dave Harding scored for Liss in the first half and Josh Coakley’s goal came too late to save the visitors.

Division One promotion hopefuls Four Marks were held to a goalless draw by Sway. Struggling Headley lost 3-1 away to leaders Upham.
