Liss Athletic picked up a welcome three points in the Hampshire Premier Football League Senior Division on Saturday with a 3-1 victory against Overton United at the Newman Collard Playing Fields.

Seamus Evans scored twice for Mark Glazier’s outfit, and Harry Stanbridge was also on target for the home side.

Adam Hargood scored for Overton.

The three points lifted Liss up to 11th place in the Senior Division table. The team have now picked up 19 points from 17 games after winning five games, drawing four and losing eight.

Next up for Liss is another home game – against sixth-placed Denmead – at the Newman Collard Playing Fields on Saturday afternoon (2pm).
