FLEET Broadway? More like Fleet Draw-way.

Those were the words of captain Darren Ridgers after Simon Laney’s black ball win against Karol Mikowski of Liss RBL A ensured their eighth draw in 11 Division One matches.

Ridgers began the latest comeback, seeing off Paul Murphy in the third frame after Nick Booth and Kevin Woodford put the second-placed hosts 2-0 up.

If Fleet are hard to beat, then leaders Sovereign B are looking nigh on unbeatable. They now have a nine point lead following a 4-0 demolition of Grayshott B with Tony Edwards hitting breaks of 47 in a dominant performance.

Sovereign C find themselves in the second relegation spot after going down 3-1 to their 'A' counterparts, while Shottermill B’s 2-2 against Liss RBL B could prove vital come the end of the season, with bottom-placed Lindford D only two points behind with a game in hand.
